Poser Land!!!

Poser Land!Posted by Hello

Well here goes another "korina" inspired picture (hahaha...love ya kor! ;p ). I dress like this now because of dance. hahaha. Well just in case I haven't mentioned it here (which is a shame coz im very very proud of it) I'm a proud member of NUS DANCE BLAST! This group just rocks! Singaporeans surprise me once in a while...like changing my opinion about their music industry (check out the taufik post) and now (well not too recently) dance! I've seen people here who can really move man! (of course i still think my country men can beat them anytime hehehe, forgive my patriotism, i'm really like this)

Actually, come to think of it...I was never really a dancer in the Philippines... sure I enjoyed the dance culture and all, danced with some friends during small events, several cultural performances, ballroom, etc. But never really joined those major dance competitions (ie. fiestas hehehe, that's about how big it got for me)... Guess I was too intimidated with the group that Kuya Willy (the leader of my youth group in my church last time) always picks...namely, Ian, Patrick, Martin, Mac, Janny. Those five always got the parts. Well actually everytime... I guess they were really the better ones. And i don't think my friends thought of me as a dancer myself. I secretly dance by myself at home. I don't think I ever got caught hehehe. So yeah, I can't really blame anyone for the not so exciting dance career back at home. hehehe.

So I think I owe it to Singapore. Here's where I got the exposure. Philippines trained me, and now Singapore gives me the platform. Works for me! :D

Coming Performance:

Dancetitude
@NTU Auditorium
18th-19th Feb 2005

Dance Blast! will be guest performing. We'll be having a 10-minute number. I gotta warn some of you first, it's not entirely hip hop, it's a modern jazz concert, Blast! is only guest performing. Well if you're interested then do call me at 94765554 (asap, i don't have the tix yet but will make sure you get one if you contact me asap!) Tix sell at $10 free seating.

Alryt....archie....OUT!
