MISSING everyone!

sigh...last night after my dance practice (oh man! our dance caps are good! soo proud to be in NUS dance Blast!)...anyways, when i got back...saw JL online...so chatted with him...then everyone started coming online! and man! i tell ya! it was a riot! Like we all haven't seen each other for years! hahaha...i guess it's different if you meet online! a little more exciting! hahaha (but not the same with meeting personally of course)

well, to cut the long story short...we were online till like 3am in the morning..thank goodness i don't have any school now..hahaha...we just played trivia and bugtungan (filipino riddles) all night long...me and abiel are one team, anna, muriel and aline are another team... mia was our games master...korina and emilyn popped by as well but not that long...was laughing my head off! hahahah.... these guys are great! really blessed to have known them! MISS YOU GUYS!!! COME BACK HERE NA!!!! hahahah... we all got tired after 3am and went to sleep...hahaha...welll that' s all for now! really miss you guys!

TAUFIK : the 1st SINGAPORE IDOL yeah!!!

Yep you heard it! Taufik Batisah is Singapore's First Idol! yeah!!!

I just came back from the singapore indoor stadium!!! (i can see people turning green with
envy!!!) grabe man!!! It was an awesome show! Taufik is undoubtedly the first singapore idol...

Opening the evening with his smooth and cool rendition of Stevie Wonder's upbeat Superstitious (His choice; sly and him have three songs to perform) the house was brought down! An awesome starter for an outstanding show...

His 2nd song was I Dream (i forgot by who) it's the Winner's single...(kinda like Fantasia's I
believe)...and Taufik gave the song life! Awesome man! sweeeeeeet!

and to cap it off his 3rd song: Me and Mrs. Jones (judge's choice), if you guys can remember George Huff of American Idol season 3 did this as well...but i must say, Taufik was even greater! The long applause...and i mean reaaaaaalllllyyyyy long applause (watch the replay) after his performance explained it all...i was near to tears, just soooo moved (this is getting
weird...hahaha nevermind he's an awesome singer!) gosh! He is the bomb!!!

props to Sylvester too! He delivered his songs really well and he showed he could control a
song...something i didn't know he could...glad he proved me wrong... his three songs are: It's my life (judge's choice...complicated song and it was well done...what do we expect from a rocker???), An jing (his choice....uh oh....i think the hanyu pinyin is wrong, forgive mehahaha...anyways song by jay chou...he's definitely better than jay chou) and I dream (same one taufik sang...really cool rendition too...really controlled it well...but of course I THINK taufik was better, biased opinion)...sylvester definitely gave a good fight....i was on my toes, gripping my seat while waiting for Gurmit to announce the winner (i hope i had kuya howie's confidence....he had no doubt taufik is gonna be the singapore idol...could have saved me a lot of anxiety stress hahahaha)

but nevermind...as soon as gurmit mentioned taufik's name...i (together with thousands more in the stadium) leaped off our feet and shouted the loudest that night! what an awesome feeling...i felt like i won too!! hahaha soooo happy for taufik... you're the best man! I'm a total fan now! hahaha...

was also great seeing the other nine finalists! you guys are great! and just wanna say this...sly fans...don't fret... sly's still gonna be a star...

but for now... let taufik take center stage!!! all for you brudder!!! all the best in world idol and your career...singapore has a chance! yes! I STAND CORRECTED!!!
